Oh right, it’s you. You want to know about The Daily Shift do ya? Sher we all know what shifting is anyway, unless you’re from that far off land where those Yankies come from, what’s it called again? The good old US of A isn’t it?

Anyway, this isn’t about shifting, and this is certainly not a dating website either folks! (Sorry to disappoint…)

The Daily Shift is a site tailored to those young uns’ people call ‘students’ these days.

Back in my day, being a student meant actually studying but sher feck it, anyone can pick up a degree nowadays it seems!

Sher just look at us, we’re ‘students’ running this site!

But even if you’re not a student, we’re pretty sure you’ll find something that will interest you!

Ah now, on a serious note…The Daily Shift is here to give you your daily dose of hard news (yeah, hard…), soft news (yeah, soft…), juicy entertainment (you should really see what I’m getting at here…), vivid opinion pieces and exhilarating sports! You’ll also find bits and pieces about the latest fashion, colourful photos (ahem…), and videos (some home made…)!

The Daily Shift was founded by Jessica Thompson and Cáthal Power, and launched on July 1, and already it’s gone from strength to strength – but with a group of talented young people such as this, what else would you expect?
