Man assaulted in Dublin during Patrick’s Day celebrations

The video of an assault on a young man in Dublin city centre has recently been posted to social media including Facebook. The man while lying on the ground is surrounded by several other men before another approaches to viciously kick him in the face. The extent of the young man’s injuries are as of yet, unknown as is the identity of the attackers.

Review: Dreamland, Garter Lane

Playwright and Waterford native, Jim Nolan has written a poignant portrayal of Ireland; June 1934, a rural pub in a village on the south coast of Ireland. Returned Yank, Johnny Kinnane has eight hours to salvage the rapidly decaying carcass of a sixty foot whale. Dreamland showcases great performances from the likes of Des Keogh and Karl Shiels and introduces rising star Conall Keating.
